![]() Thanks for the link though, I'll bookmark it for when I need it one day. I'll probably get round to using Nexus when I get a new PC but for now, I'll try and make do without. Thanks for the replies! I'm old school and don't actually use Nexus haha. While I'm here, do you have the Unofficial Skyrim Patch and the related patches for any DLC? I believe the USKP is meant to fix the issue with ash piles not getting deleted, but it can only generally prevent things from happening after it's installed, not fix them retroactively after installation. For cities, ten days is *probably* enough, but if you're having dead stuff stay in place for long periods of time, it may well be happening with wilderness cells, too, so best to try and let everything reset. This should give everything a chance to reset, which won't happen if you keep visiting the city. ![]() don't use even a vanilla Breezehome if your issues are in Whiterun - and wait for 31 days using the wait menu. ![]() (Might be less of an issue with named NPC corpses, but with dead dragons, ash piles etc, you're stuck.)Īlternatively, you can try going to a vanilla, interior cell (one which has been amended by a mod - such as the Winking Skeever which often has new NPCs added - may be okay, one which has been added or greatly overhauled - such as a heavily modified Breezehome - probably is best not used for this) with none of these dead bodies lying around - preferably in a separate hold, or at least not the same city, e.g. (I think pcb may also work, I'm less familiar with that) but yes, do NOT simply disable things, that's actually worse for your game than leaving them as they are, not least because you will not be able to find them again with the console to delete them properly. ![]()
